Services for Mrs. Hazel I. Briggs, 85, of the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home, formerly of Waterloo, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's United Methodist Church with entombment at Temple of Memories Mausoleum at Garden of Memories Cemetery. She died Wednesday night at the Lutheran Home.

Mrs, Briggs was born May 1, 1894, at Necedah, Wis., daughter of Byron and Mary Josephine White Saunders. She married Joseph W. Briggs March 22, 1913, in Waterloo. He died Feb. 2, 1966. Mrs. Briggs was retired from Rath Packing Co., after working there 25 years.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at Chapel of Memories West after 10 a.m. Friday, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Memorials may be given to the Heart Fund or the Cancer Society.
