WATERLOO - Jerry "Porkie" Mayne, 72, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, June 11, 2913, at Allen Hospital.

He was born Feb. 1, 1941, in Waterloo, son of Harry and Louise Maus Mayne. He married Mary E. Nielsen on Feb. 10, 1962, in Cedar Falls. She died in 1993.

Mr. Mayne worked for Assink Brothers and Benton Concrete Construction, retiring in 2007.

Survived by two daughters, Teresa Dillavou and Jodie Mayne, both of Cedar Falls; two granddaughters, Nicole Wygle and Tracey Dillavou; two great-grandchildren, Dylan Wygle and Marley Shindley; four sisters, Maryann Ford of Waterloo, Beverly Hackley of Aurora, Colo., Nancy (Gerry) Knief of Stonehill, Tenn., and Sandra (Wendell) Althof of Dysart; a brother-in-law, Roy Trent of Altoona; and a sister-in-law, Carol Anne Mayne of Aurora, Colo.

Preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Tom; and a sister, Peggy Trent.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Friday at Heartland Vineyard Church with visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Dahl-Van-Schoof Funeral Home, both in Cedar Falls, with inurnment at a later date in Greenwood Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
