CEDAR FALIS—Services for Francis C. Boorom, 68. of 1011 West Seventh St., will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Boorom died at his home late Thursday of cancer.

He was born Nov. 13, 1913, in Waverly, son of William and Susan Jordon Boorom. He married Adeline Cooper Nov. 22, 1936. in Cedar Falls. He was employed by Bancroft Flowers for 25 years, retiring in 1966. He and his wife owned and operated Boorom Nursing Home for 23 years, retiring in 1977.

Surviving are his wife; four sons, Lyle of 2925 Lqma St., Roger of 1321 West Seventh St., Richard of 410 West Sixth St., and Robert of Moville; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Richardson Funeral Home from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, and Monday until 11 a.m.. and at the church for an hour before services. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be given to the church or Cedar Valley Hospice.
