Funeral services will be Saturday morning at St. Jude's Catholic Mission Church in Cupertino, Calif., for Mrs. Richard W. Rath, 49, of San Jose, Calif., formerly of Waterloo. Burial will be in San Jose. Mrs. Rath died Tuesday at her home of acute pancreatitis.

The former Mary Kay Wright, she was born in Waterloo Oct. 5, 1921, to Kenneth arid Mary C. Wright. She was employed as office manager for Quail & Co. and as secretary to Raymond C. Smith. She was a member of Quota Club and served as a Republican precinct committeewoman. Her marriage to Richard W. Rath occurred Dec; 15, 1961 at Preston, Minn., and the couple later moved to California.

Preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her husband; her mother and a brother, John M.Wright, both of 904 Washington St., Cedar Falls.
