KIDDER, TITUS, PAYNE, GARTON, MILLER, MCCOMBS, PHILLIPS, WALLER

CEDAR FALLS - Services for Irene E. Kidder, 97, of the Western Home, will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Dahl-VanHove-Schoof Funeral Home with a 3 p.m. Tuesday graveside service at the Fairfield Cemetery, Albert City. She died at 4:40 p.m. Saturday at the Western Home of complications of age.

Mrs. Kidder was born Oct. 21, 1878, in Polk County, the daughter of Charles and Alice Payne Titus. She married Clifford Garton in February of 1896 and he died in August
1907. She then married Charles F. Kidder Dec. 5,1914. and he died Aug. 7, 1941.

She is survived by two sons, Russell Kidder of 1201 Bertchwood Ave., and Leland Kidder of 1403 Lyon St., Waterloo; four daughters: Mrs. Lewis Miller of San Gabriel, Calif., Mrs. Lester McCombs of Parkersburg, Mrs. Merle Phillips of Wheaton, Ill., and Mrs. Joseph Waller of 1118 W. Seventh St.; and a brother, Charles Titus of Lytton.

The family suggests memorials be given to the Conger Street Church of God in Waterloo. Friends may tall at the funeral home until time of services.
