EVANSDALE—Services for Charles Albert Roberts, 48, 225 Wema Ave., will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Kaiser-Corson Chapel in Waverly with burial in Harlington Cemetery there. He died early Monday morning in Finchford, apparently of a heart attack.

He was born in Tama County, June 30, 1939, the son of Charles and Mary Struckman Roberts. He attended school at Janesville. He served in the Korean War.

He was a truck driver and from May 1977 to December 1977 was employed by the Black Hawk County Road Department'. He married Shirley Weltzin in Evansdale in 1973.

Survivors are his wife; four children by previous marriages, Thomas, Long Beach, Calif., Kenneth, New Hartford, Ricky and Barbara, both of Smithville, Ark.; stepfather, August Kirchoff, Denver; three sisters, Mrs. Don King, Denver, Mrs. Grace Dettmer and Mrs. Gerald Bruns, both of Waverly; a brother, Ernest Kirchoff, Denver, and a granddaughter.

Friends may call after noon Tuesday at the funeral home in Waverly.
