MRS. ROY L. RANNEY.

World has been received here of the death of Mrs. Roy L. Ranney, 60, of 4809 Red River, Austin, Texas, a former resident of Waterloo, Cedar Falls, and New Hartford from diabetes and complications Wednesday at her home. She had been ill for three weeks.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday at the Hyltin chapel in Austin. Burial was at Austin Memorial Park.

Born Katharine C. Pease, the daughter of Chester and Martha Pease, on Jan. 6, 1884, in Independence, Ia., she was married to Roy L. Ranney on Nov. 5, 1905. They resided in New Hartford until 1931 when they moved to Cedar Falls. They made their home there for several years, later moving to Waterloo for a few years. In 1942, they made their home in Austin, where she lived until her death.

She is preceded in death by a brother, H. R. Pease, and a sister, Mrs. Fannie M. Laventhal.

Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Roger L., 4926 Burnet road, Austin, and two grandchildren.
