Services for Pearl S. Custard, 72, of 215 E, Ninth St., will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Chapel of Memories West with burial in Garden of Memories. He died Sunday morning at his home.

Mr. Custard was born March 26 1909 in Mexico City, Mo., son of Andrew and Etta Custard. He married Lorna Ackermann Dec. 31, 1934, in Waterloo. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the Navy.

Survivors include his wife and two sisters, May Derre of Dekalb, Ill. and Mrs. Grace Trebil of Phoenix, Ariz

Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Monday until time of services Wednesday. Graveside military services will be conducted by Becker-Chapman Post 138 of the American Legion.
