EVANSDALE - Tresa Lynne Hawbaker, 39, of Evansdale, died Wednesday, April 22, 2009, at Allen Hospital.

She was born Aug. 14, 1969, in Waterloo, daughter of Terry Hawbaker and Alice Bartz Erickson.

She graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1987 and attended Hawkeye Community College and Upper Iowa University.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Waterloo.

Survived by a son, Cory; a daughter, Chassidy (Curtis Bate) Hawbaker; her mother, Alice (Gary Sauser) Erickson; a granddaughter, Madison Bate; a brother, Tony (Jessica) Hawbaker; maternal grandmother, Beverly Mathews; three nephews; and a neice.

Preceded in death by her father, Terry Hawbaker; paternal grandparents, Tommy and Bernice Hawbaker; and maternal grandfather, Paul Bartz.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Public visitation from 3 to 5 p.m. today at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, and for an hour before services Monday at the church.
