MRS. CELESTIA B. KENNEDY

Services for Mrs. Celestia B. Kennedy, 97, of 427 Pine St., will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with burial in Calvary Cemetery.

She died at 1:20 p.m. Monday at St. Francis Hospital of complications of age.

She was born Nov. 20, 1876, in Brooklyn, the daughter of Thomas and Henrietta Edelen. She was married to George C. Kennedy Aug. 22, 1902, in Waterloo. He preceded her in death in 1949.

Survivors include two sons, Craig R. of 2528 Cottage Row, Cedar Falls, and Francis E. of 427 Pine St.

There will be a Scripture service at 8 p.m. Wednesday at 8 p.m. Wednesday at O'Keefe and Towne Funeral Home, where friends may call after noon Wednesday.
