Charles T. Pohlmann, 72, of 711 Fletcher Ave., died at St. Francis Hospital at 4 a.m. yesterday of cancer.
He was born Aug. 16, 1894, in Davenport, the son of Bernard H. and Elizabeth S. Zensen Pohlmann.
Mr. Pohlmann lived here since 1920 and was a salesman for the Farwell Ozmund Kirk Hardware Co. of St. Paul, Minn.
He was married to Delores McRoberts. She died in 1946.
He is survived by a brother, Bernard H., of Davenport; two sisters, Mrs. Otto Balke, Sr., Kansas City, Mo., and Sister M. Antonella, Order of St. Francis at Campbells Port. Wis.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the American Legion and a fourth degree member of the Knights of Columbus.
Services are pending at O'Keefe & Towne Funeral Home.
