Services are pending at O'Keefe, & Towne Funeral Home for William W, Dotson, 49, former Waterloo resident who died Thursday morning at Veteran's Hospital in Des Moines.

He was born in Waterloo July 8, 1912, the son of Walter C. and Helen Wangler Dotson and graduated from East High School in 1930.

On June 24, 1935, he was married to Margaret Morris. They later were divorced. He served in the Army from 1943 to 1945.

Survivors include three sons: John T. of 2915 Randolph, Richard C. and William M. of Cottage Row, Cedar Falls; a daughter, Diane Marie Dotson, of 126 Prospect Ave.; a brother, Robert L., of 102 Sunset Road; a sister, Mrs. Phillip McKinley, of Azusa, Calif, and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
