Services are pending at Chapel of Memories West for Nettie Balabon, 80, of Richmond, Mo., formerly of 823 Bertch Ave., who died Saturday morning at the Ray County Memorial Hospital in Richmond.
She was born Aug. 15, 1899, in Russia, to Tony and Helen Volkoff. She came to the United States in 1910: She married Stephen Damon Balabon Dec. 24, 1916. He died in 1960.
Survivors include a son, Thomas of 12045 Kimball Ave.; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Harken and Mrs. Helen Randle, both of Norbone, Mo.; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Monday.
