WATERLOO - Jacqueline "Jackie" Roy, 57, of Waterloo, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2007, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home of cancer.

She was born Feb. 17, 1950, in Waterloo, daughter of William J. and Geraldine Koch Halterman. She married Mike Verbraken in 1968 in Waterloo, and they later divorced. She married Larry Roy on Jan. 8, 1994, in Waterloo.

Mrs. Roy owned and operated Parkade Printer Inc.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Brian (Stephanie) Verbraken of Spring Hill, Kan.; a daughter, Erin (Nate) Olson of Chandler, Ariz.; two grandchildren, Alec and Noah Verbraken; four brothers: Michael (Ann) Halterman of Kansas City, Mo., Gerald (Kathy) Halterman of Orville, Calif., Paul Halterman of Clearwater, Fla., and David (Janet) Halterman of Cedar Falls; and a sister, Dawn (Mike) Meether of Cottage Grove, Minn.

Preceded in death by her parents; a son, Michael Verbraken; and three brothers: William, James and Thomas Halterman.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, with burial in Garden of Memories. Public visitation from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, where there will be a 4 p.m. Legion of Mary rosary. Visitation also for an hour before services Friday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice.
