WATERLOO - Donald Neville Armstrong, 85, of 810 Hanna Blvd., died Sunday, Oct. 12, 1997, at home of natural causes.

He was born Feb. 7, 1912, in Des Moines, son of Robert and Sara Neville Armstrong. He married Genevieve Gashel on Dec. 28, 1947, in Waterloo. Mr. Armstrong worked for the Railway Express and was a U.S. Navy veteran.

Survived by his wife; and a sister, Helen Stocking.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Parrott & Wood Funeral Home, with burial in Garden of Memories. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to Crossroads Assembly of God Church.
