CEDAR FALLS - Funeral services for Mrs. C. George Carver, 60, of 4117 University Ave., will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Deadwood, S. D. Mrs. Carver died at 5:45 p.m. Friday in Sartori Memorial Hospital of cancer.

Following a family visitation yesterday evening at Kearns-Dykeman Chapel, the body was flown to the Wells Funeral Home In Deadwood for further visitation. Friends who wish may contribute to, St. Timothy's United Methodist Church, Blessed Sacrement Catholic Church, or the Black Hawk County
Chapter of the American Cancer Society in her name.

Josephine Fridrich was born on March 17, 1913, in Tyndall, S.D., the daughter of August and Antoionette Kaumraik Fridrich. She married C. George Carver on June 14, 1938, in Dakota City, Neb. For the past two and a half years she and her husband had served as managers of Motel Six in Cedar Falls. Prior to that they had resided in Sioux City, Deadwood, S. D., Grand Forks, N. D., and Great Falls, Mont.

Survivors include her husband; three stepsons: C. George Jr. of Devore, Calif., Richard W. of Tacoma,
Wash., and the Rev. Donald L. Carver, pastor of St. Timothy's United Methodist Church, who lives at 3212 Terrace Dr. two stepdaughters, Mrs. Audrey Merrill of Wichita, Kan., and Mrs. Harriet Ohlerking of Idaho Springs, Colo.; two brothers, August Fridrich of Alexandria, Va., and John Fridrich of Sacremento, Calif.; three sisters: Mrs. Ann Shiba of California, Mrs. Helen Shama of Deadwood, S.D., and Mrs. Arlene Brown of Chicago, Ill.; 32 grandchildren and one great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
