WATERLOO, IOWA — Jeffrey J. Greenwood, 41, of 3556 Muirfield Drive, died at home Sunday, October 8, 1995, of cancer; services 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Edward's Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery; visitation 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at O'Keefe & Towne-Grarup & Waychoff Funeral Home, 233-3393, with a 7 p.m. vigil service.

WATERLOO, IOWA — Jeffrey J. Greenwood, 41, of 3556 Muirfield Drive, died at home Sunday, October 8, of cancer.

He was born December 8, 1953, in Cherokee, son of Francis J. and Lois H. Ofelt Greenwood. He married Molly Pitcher on June 25, 1977, in Princeton, Illinois. Mr. Greenwood received a BBA degree from the University of Iowa in 1976 and a Juris Doctorate from Creighton University School of Law, Omaha, Nebraska, in 1982. He moved to Waterloo and was employed by Swisher & Cohrt, becoming a partner in 1987. He was past president of Sunnyside Country Club and of District 1B of the Iowa State Bar Association in 1987-1988. He was an assistant coach for the Waterloo Columbus High School girls golf team.

Survived by his wife; a son, Matt at home; a daughter, Amy Greenwood at home: his mother of Cherokee: two brothers, Tim of Cherokee and Dave of Omaha; and a sister, Mary Cook of Portland, Ore.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, at St. Edward's Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at O'Keefe & Towne-Grarup & Waychoff Funeral Home, where there will be a 7 p.m. parish vigil service.
