Funeral services for Mrs. Virgil Wright, Mason City, former Waterloo resident, who was killed in an automobile crash north of Hampton at 1:50 a. m. Saturday, will be conducted at 2 p, m. Tuesday at the Major Funeral Home, Mason City. Burial will be at Clear Lake.

She was born Winifred Armstrong, in Waterloo on Aug. 17, 1915, and moved from here 10 years ago. She has been employed since then at the Mason City Globe-Gazette.

Surviving are her husband, Virgil, to whom she was married on Feb. 10, 1951; five children by a former marriage: Mrs. Darlene Gregory, San Jose, Calif.; Mrs. Shirley Walker, also of San Jose, Sharon Simon of San Jose; Mrs. Juania Baird of Great Lakes, Ill;, and Dail Simon of Mason City; her mother, Mrs. Lou Armstrong, 1142 Ackermant Street, Waterloo; three sisters: Mrs. Gladys Hein, Dunkerton; Mrs. Laura Swanson, Evansdale; Mrs. Lyle McMullen, residing in Wisconsin; four brothers: N. C. Armstrong, Davenport; O. J. Armstrong, 2620 McClure Drive, Cedar Falls; E. C. Armstrong, Dallas, Texas; G. T. Armstrong, 943 Newton St.

Her father and four brothers preceded her in death.
