Funeral services for Arthur B. Frezeland, 53, of 4308 Lafayette Rd., Evansdale, are pending at the Kearns-Dykman chapel. He died at 3 p. m. Sunday at Allen Memorial Hospital of carcinoma. Mr. Frezeland had been ill since last November and had been a patient at the hospital for three weeks.

He was born in Drieven, Germany, Dec. 1, 1905, the son of the late Bernhard and Fenna Sanders Frezeland. He grew to manhood in Germany and came to this country in 1925, settling in Evansdale.

He had been a florist at the Bunger Greenhouses since that time. He married Lena Heeren in Evansdale Oct. 22, 1953.
Mr. Frezeland was a member of the First Reformed Church of Evansdale and was a Sunday school superintendent and an elder of the church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter Helga Ruth, 4, at home. Also surviving are two brothers Melchert Frezeland and Heine Frezeland; and three sisters.
