George T. Coleman, 53, 1034 Ash Street, died at 6:25 a.m. Monday at Schoitz Memorial Hospital. He had been taken there from his job at the John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works Friday after suffering a stroke.

Mr. Coleman was born Feb. 20, 1905, in Memphis, Tenn. He worked at Deere's 13 years.

Survivors include his wife, Paralee, a stepdaughter, Mrs. Cleo Murphy, 1034 Ash Street; two sons, George T. Coleman Jr*., of Sacramento, Calif., and George T. Coleman Jr.*, Los Angeles; a sister, Mrs. Jessie Lacky, 135 Cottage St. and a brother, Augusta C. Coleman, Chicago, Ill.

Funeral services are pending at the Johnson Funeral Home.
