Funeral arrangements are pending at Parrott & Wood Funeral Home for Henry C.
Ehlers, 75, 1003 Mulberry St., who died at Allen Memorial Hospital Saturday morning of cerebral thrombosis, following a stroke he suffered Tuesday.

He was born Dec. 17, 1882, near Dinsdale in Tama County to Henning and Elizabeth Ehlers. He married Doris Strohbehn Jan. 1, 1907, near Traer, then farmed near Dinsdale and later at Jesup before moving to Waterloo in 1944.

He is survived by his wife; one son, Calvin; three daughters: Bernice; Mrs. Verna Otterman, 411 E. 11th St.; Mrs. Harold Peck, Vancouver, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. John Dauschmidt, Traer; Mrs. Claude Worrall, Long Beach, Calif.; one brother, Arthur, Long Beach, Calif., and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.

He attended Grace Methodist Church here.
