Raymond H. Mau, 77, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, November, 12, 2007, at Allen Memorial Hospital of lung cancer.

He was born July 30, 1930, in Odebolt, son of William E. and Johanna A. Johnson Mau. He married Josephine Fecht June 23, 1957 in Waterloo. She died February 16 1999.

Mr. Mau was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the Korean War. He was employed with John Deere for 32 years retiring in 1985. After his retirement he was employed at the Dunkerton Co-op.

Survivors include two daughters, Joanne Hiller of Waterloo, and Christine (Bob) Junkins of Stout; five grandchildren: Eric (Carrie) Hiller, Ryan (Amy) Junkins, Heather Hiller, Kayla Junkins, and Corinne Junkins; a great-granddaughter, Addison Hiller, and two on the way; and a brother Lawrence (Cindy) Mau of Janesville.

Preceded in death by a son Roger Gene Mau; a brother Ronald Mau; a sister Violetta Walton; and a son-in-law Matt Hiller.

Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at Hagarty Waychoff Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway with burial in Elmwood Cemetery where full military rites will be conducted by Evansdale Amvets Post 31 and Waterloo Amvets Post 19. Public visitation from 4:00 9:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Cedar Valley Hospice.
