ELK RUN HEIGHTS — Donna Ann Rubino Watters, 84, of Elk Run Heights, died Saturday, May 4, 2013, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.

She was born Jan. 23, 1929, in Waterloo, daughter of Lewis Harrison and Maude Anna Gardner Rose. She married Anthony F. Rubino on May 11, 1946, in Cedar Falls. He died March 5, 1984. She married Dale Watters on Dec. 28, 1986, in Waterloo.

Mrs. Watters was a homemaker.

Survived by her husband; four sons: Frank (Elaine) Rubino of Waterloo, Rick Rubino of Dallas, Garry (Marilyn) Rubino of Evansdale and Dino (Dawn) Rubino of Mount Auburn; two daughters, LuAnn (Mike) Diers of Kyle, Texas, and Diana (Wayne Wilson) Rubino of Springfield, Mo.; 14 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and two stepsons, Jack (Fredricka) Tharp of Beloit, Wis., and Jerry Tharp of Grinnell.

Preceded in death by four brothers: Bernard, Jim, Bud and Lewis Rose Jr.; and four sisters: Agnes Watters, Joan Mumm, Gwen Scoles and Lois McNamara.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Waterloo, with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Oelwein. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, Waterloo, with a 4 p.m. Legion of Mary rosary. Visitation also an hour before services Wednesday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the church.
