Lyle C. Kleinheksel, 68, of Hudson, died Saturday, Nov. 17. 2007, from injuries sustained in a car accident.

He was born April 25, 1939, in Pipestone, MN, the son of Clayton Jess and Ruth Irma Hagen Kleinheksel. He married Rosemary Sadler on Aug. 2, 1965, at St. Anthanasius Church in Jesup. He was a graduate of West High School in 1957. He was employed as a supervisor with John Deere for 33 years.

Survived by his wife Rosemary of Hudson; three sons: Kevin (Stephany) of Waterloo, Gregory (Emily) of Fairbank, and Christopher (Lindsey Alexander) of Waterloo; a daughter, Tamara (Jacob) Cowell of Waterloo; six grandchildren; three sisters: Norma Kleinheksel of Cedar Falls, Kay (Gilbert) Martinez of Encinita, CA., and Judy (Ronald) McCarthy of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Marjorie Chapman.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with burial in Mt. Olivet cemetery. Public visitation from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway where there will be a 7 p.m. vigil service. Visitation also one hour prior to services Friday at the church.
