Services for Charles F. Linker, 71, of 1019 Randolph St., will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Parrott & Wood Chapel with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Mr. Linker died Monday morning at Schoitz Medical Center.

He was born Jan. 21, 1913, at Liberty, Ill., son of Carl Wilhelm and Ellen Melvina Murphey Linker. He married Virginia Bartlett Sept. 14, 1937, at Liberty. She died Sept. 15, 1980. He was a plumber for Union Plumbing, retiring in 1978.

He is survived by a son, Charles Gordon Linker of Waterloo; a daughter, Maureen Waters of Overland Park, Kan.; two stepsons, William Bartlett of Detroit, Mich., and Glenn Bartlett of Waterloo; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Louis tanker of Sulphur, La., and Russell Linker of Tulsa, Okla.; and five sisters: Irene Lepper, Helen Campbell and Frieda Frey, all of Quincy, HI., Beatrix Nofty of Golden, HI., and Lenore Teahouse of Liberty.

Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and until service time Wednesday at Parrott & Wood Funeral Home, where the family, will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday.
