Funeral services for William Aegerter, 85, formerly of 116 Irving St. will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Chapel of Memories West where friends may call after 10 a.m a.m. Tuesday. Mr. Aegerter died at 6:45 a.m. Sunday at St. Francis Hospital of complications of age.

He was born Sept. 23, 1887, in Bremer County, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Nick Aegerter Sr. He married Addie L. Olds Sept. 17, 1908, in Sumner.

Mr. Aegerter had been a resident of Waterloo since 1942 and was last employed by the Rath Packing Company.

He is survived by one son, Harold Aegerter of 1034 Oregon St.; one daughter. Mrs. Bennie Bjornson of 2621 Ansborough Ave.; 13 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren: one brother, Nick Aegerter Jr. of Sumner; and one sister, Mrs. Ida Webster of the Lutheran Home, Cedar Falls.

Preceding him in death were his parents, his wife in 1972, two daughters, two sons and one granddaughter.

Funeral services for William Aegerter, 85, formerly of 116 Irving St., will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Chapel of Memories West with the Rev. S.M. Schreitmueller, pastor of the First Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Garden of Memories.

Mr. Aegerter died Sunday morning at St. Francis Hospital of complications of age.

Friends may call at the Chapel of Memories West until service time.

Besides other survivors listed in Monday's Courier, Aegerter is also survived by one grandson.
