CEDAR FALLS - Jack L. Eldridge, 70, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, July 21, at his home.

He was born Nov. 19, 1937, in Des Moines, son of Lester L. and Edna S. Bruce Eldridge. He married Janice Williamson on Jan. 25, 1964, in Waterloo. She died April 21, 1977.

Mr. Eldridge was a 1956 graduate of East High School and worked as a draftsman with Stenson, Warm and Grimes.

Survived by three daughters: Malissa (Bradly) Jones of Killeen, Texas, Kim (David) Grandon of New Hartford and Karolyn (Jack) Harper of Prairie City; eight grandchildren: Cortney (Mike) McCarter, Trisha Grandon, Daniel (Melissa) Grandon, Matthew Grandon, Chad Harper and Brittney, Andrea and Taylor Jones; four great-grandchildren: Dylan and Darren Grandon and Mary Claire and Brian McCarter; two sisters, Reta Hunstein of California and Judy Cole of Washington; and a brother-in-law, Ted Friesner of Missouri.

Preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Friesner; and a grandson in infancy.

Memorial services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Richardson Funeral Home, with burial in the Garden of Memories Cemetery, Waterloo. Public visitation for an hour before services Monday at the funeral home.
