DUNKERTON - Lucille Fettkether, 93, of Dunkerton, died Friday, Sept. 22, 2000, at Allen Hospital, Waterloo, following a brief illness.

She was born Aug. 8, 1907, in Milwaukee, daughter of John Tappan and Mary Ann Cassidy Tappan. She married Oren John Fettkether on Nov. 20, 1928, in Milwaukee.

Survived by a son, Donald M. of Dunkerton; three daughters: Mary Ann Weber and Celeste Hoffman, both of Waterloo, and Regina Corkery of Jesup; 30 grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband, Oren, in 1990; a son, Kenneth; five grandchildren; three brothers; and two sisters.

Services were 10:30 a.m. today at St. Francis Catholic Church, Barclay, Dunkerton, with burial in Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery, Fairbank. White Funeral Home, Jesup, was in charge of arrangements.

A memorial fund will be established.
