Mrs. Iola H. Moseley, 85, of 436½ Wellington St., died Tuesday at 2:45 a. m. at Allen Memorial Hospital of carcinoma. She had been a patient there for the past four weeks.

Mrs. Moseley was born Jan. 29, 1870, on a farm near Hudson, the daughter of Frank R. and Nellie Ely Hollis.

She was married to Orla G. Moseley there on March 14, 1894. Following their marriage the couple moved Olden, Mo., where they farmed for five years, then returning to Hudson. They lived near there until Mr. Moseley 's death in May of 1941.

Mrs. Moseley moved to Waterloo in 1942. She was a life-long member of the Community Church at Hudson, but had been affiliated with the First Methodist Church in Waterloo since 1942.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Clarence Poe, 515 Home Park Blvd.; a son, Hollis F. Moseley, Hudson; three grandchildren; five brothers: R. C. Hollis, 1502 Hammond Ave., Dr. E. L. Hollis, Marengo; H. R. Hollis, Arthur E. Hollis, and John Hollis, all of Hudson; a sister, Mrs. Letty Eighmey-Rich of Clear Lake.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her husband, by a daughter, Etta Mae, in 1915, and a brother and a sister.

The body is at Kistner Funeral Home pending funeral arrangements

Funeral services for Mrs. Iola H, Moseley, 85, of 436 Wellington St. will be Saturday
at 2 p. m. at First Methodist Church. The Rev. Fred E. Miller, pastor, will officiate, and
burial will be in Hudson Cemetery.

The body will be taken to the church from Kistner Funeral Home at noon Saturday.

Mrs. Moseley died Tuesday at Allen Memorial Hospital. She had been a patient there four weeks.
