MOSELEY, HOLLIS, SEXTON, HALL, POE

HUDSON - Hollis E. Moseley, 100, of the Western Home Communities, Cedar Falls, formerly of Hudson, died at the home Friday, March 25.

He was born May 20, 1904, near Hudson, son of Orla G. and Iola Hollis Moseley. He married Marguerite Sexton in 1937. She died in 1939. He married Edna Hall in Mount Pleasant in 1942.

Mr. Moseley graduated from Hudson High School and Iowa State University. He actively worked on the family farm two miles west of Hudson until his mid 80s. He was a member of the Hudson School Board and the board of directors for Co-op of Hudson Elevator.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Stephen (Jean) of Hudson and Kenneth (Mary) of Longwood, Fla.; five grandchildren, Darren (Jenny) Moseley, Jon Moseley, Jennifer (Jeremy) Ludwig, Laura (Mike) James and Michael Moseley; and four great-grandchildren, Brooke, Allison and Lindsey Moseley, and Oscar Ludwig.

Preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Mae Moseley and Nellie Poe.

Memorial services: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Community Church of Hudson, with burial in Hudson Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Locke Funeral Home, Waterloo.
