GRABINSKI, BUSSEWITZ, PENTICOFF, GONNERMAN, PACEY

Services for Frank A. Grabinski, 95, of the Iowa Veterans Home, Marshalltown, formerly of 425 Allen St. and Grundy Center, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Walnut Ridge Baptist Church with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery, Grundy Center.

Mr. Grabinski died of complications of age Wednesday (Nov. 2, 1988) at the Iowa Veterans Home.

He was born Jan. 17, 1893, in Miller, S.D., son of Herman and Amelia Bussewitz Grabinski. He married Elva E. Penticoff on Aug. 26, 1919, in Waterloo. She died May 15, 1981.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War I. He was employed at the John Deere Tractor Works, retiring in 1958.

Survivors include three sons: Robert of Clear Lake, Eldon of Escondido, Calif., and Dale of West Des Moines; a daughter, Marilyn Gonnerman of 1221 W. Third St.; a sister, Vy Pacey of Peoria, Ill.; and 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Willis; six sisters; two half sisters and two half brothers.

Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. Friday at Locke Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Firday.
