CEDAR FALLS, IOWA — Steven Vernon Jensen, 51, of 2215 Victory Drive, died Sunday, November 29, 1992, at Sartori Memorial Hospital, of natural causes.

He was born on August 7, 1941, in Cedar Falls, son of Verner and Arlee Penticoff Jensen. He married Joan M. Dale on May 27, 1967, in Dike. He was a graduate of Dike High School. He served with the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was warehouse manager for Northrup King & Co.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Scott Michael of Cedar Falls; a daughter, Melissa Ranae Jensen of Cedar Falls; a grandson; and two brothers, Gary E. of Waterloo and Allan L. of Port Orchard, Washington.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, with burial in Fairview Cemetery.

Visitation will be 1 to 9 p.m. today at Richardson Funeral Home, where the family will be present from 7 to 9 p.m. Visitation at the church will be an hour before services.

A memorial fund has been established.
