George Francis, Jr., age 45, died at 6:45 a. m. today at his residence, 108 Orr Street, of cancer.

The decedent was born in England June 12, 1876. and came to Cedar Falls from his native land 13 years ago last January. Six months later be moved to Waterloo. He was employed at the Superior Brass foundry as a molder. He was a member of the molders union and of Waterloo lodge, No. 328. Loyal Order of Moose.

Mr. Francis was married to Miss Ellen Eaton in England in 1904, who, with seven children, survives him.

The children are Doris, George, Florence, Albert, John, Amos and Marjorie, all at home. Surviving also are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Francis, Sr., one sister and several brothers.

The body was taken to Petersen Bros. undertaking rooms. The funeral will be at First Baptist church at 2 p. m., Wednesdav with Rev. Clyde J. Askins, Pastor, in charge. Burial will be in Elmwood.
