Funeral services for Mrs. George Francis, Sr., 79, who died at 4:45 p. m. Friday in Cedar Falls at the home of her son, John, will be at 2 p. m. Monday at the Petersen Bros, chapel in Waterloo. Rev. Ernest B. Mounsey, pastor of Christ Episcopal church, will be in charge. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

Death was attributed to complications incident to advanced age.

Mrs. Francis was the widow of the late George Francis, Sr., who died June 20, 1929, when the family lived at 738 Cleveland Street, Waterloo.

Charlotte Tilley was born July 16, 1856, at Newmarket, England. She was married March 26, 1876, at Halling Kent, England, to George Francis, Sr. They came to Cedar Falls 26 years ago and two years later moved to Waterloo. In May, 1932, Mrs. Francis went to Cedar Falls to live with her son.

She was a member of the Church of England.

Survivors include two sons, John, Cedar Falls, and Amos, East Waterloo Township; two daughters, Mrs. Alice Smoker, 517 Newell street, and Mrs. Florence Baker, Phippen, Sask., Can.; 16 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

One son, George, jr., died April 4, 1921, in, Waterloo.
