BRAY, PETTIT, TETTET, LEWIS, ECCLESTON

Girden B. Bray, age 49, died at 9:4 5 p. m. yesterday at the family home, 1738 Willlston avenue, after a lingering illness of several months duration.

Deceased was born at Quasqueton, Iowa, May 3, 1870, and came to Waterloo to make his home about 15 years ago. For the past 14 years he had been connected with Colby-Parker Transfer Company.

He was married May 3, 1879, to Miss Florence Eccleston, who survives. The following children also survive: Jennie, age 21; Ida, 20; Edwin, 17, and Edna, age 12. A brother of the deceased, Buryl Bray, resides at Omaha, Nebraska, and another brother, William, at Eyota, Minnesota. Three sisters: Mrs. Nellie Tettet*, Kalispell, Montana; Mrs. Alice Lewis, Quasqueton, Iowa, and Mrs. C. H. Eccleston, Waterloo, also survive.

Funeral services will be from Christ Episcopal Church at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Rev. M. L. Tate officiating. Burial will be in Fairview.

Note: *In Girden's father's obit (Henry Bray) Nellie is Nellie Pettit.
Newspaper spelled his name Virden but his gravestone shows Girden, also called Girden in his father's obit.
