WATERLOO — Ted C. Connolly, 72, of Garden Grove, Calif., formerly of Waterloo, died Sunday, April 14, 2013, in Garden Grove.

He was born June 11, 1940, in Waterloo, son of Helen and John Connolly.

He graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1958, attended the University of Iowa in Iowa City and was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity. Mr. Connolly founded and was president of W.C.C. Communications and later started S.B.C.C. Warehousing and Transportation.

Survived by his wife, Marianne of Garden Grove; a daughter, Michelle; two granddaughters, Charlene and Charlotte; and two sisters, Carolyn Rogers and Mary Ann Evans, all of Phoenix.

Preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, John Jr. “Jack.”

Services: are pending in Tucson, Ariz.
