WATERLOO — Catherine E. Fuller, 79, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, March 22, 2005, at Allen Hospital of natural causes.

She was born May 31, 1925, in Barneston, Neb., daughter of William A. and Elsie V. Walton Wildt. She married Carroll F. Fuller Oct. 24, 1952, in Beatrice, Neb. He died Jan. 19, 1979.

Mrs. Fuller graduated from Barneston High School in 1943 and attended Iowa State Teachers College. She taught school, and she also worked for the telephone company in Nebraska. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, building doll furniture and collecting dolls.

Survivors include a daughter, Robin Wantoch of Harrisburg, S.D.; a stepdaughter, Nura (Bill) Mansfield of Calistoga, Calif.; eight grandchildren: Wade Wantoch, Kim (Bill) Reiners, Chad (Stacey) Wantoch, Lance (Paula) Wantoch, Donna Woods, Tracy Wilson, Angea (John) Hammock and Tammy Wilson, and 11 great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Preceded in death by her parents; a stepdaughter, Vicki Givan; a brother, and two sisters.

Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, with burial in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, both in Lincoln, Neb. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories and for an hour prior to services at the funeral
home in Nebraska.
