WATERLOO - Duane A. "Bud" Bowser, 69, of Enid, Okla., formerly of Waterloo, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2002, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center, Enid, of heart failure.

He was born Aug. 26, 1932, in Waterloo, son of George and Kathlyn Bowser Hile. He married Linda Hartleip on Aug; 18, 1952, in Waterloo. Mr. Bowser worked as a mechanic for Great Plains Coca-Cola Co., Oklahoma City retiring after several years.

Survived by his wife; two sons, Daniel of Rifle, Colo., and Shane of Seattle; three daughters: Beverly Pearson, Lori Bowser and Tammy Fakavai, all of Enid; eight grandchildren; two brothers, George and Daniel, both of Waterloo; and a sister, Myrtle Fifield of Waterloo,

Preceded in death by a sister, Barb.

Memorial services were Monday at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel, Enid. At his request, his body will be cremated.
