WILLIAMS, RICKS, BLAKEMORE, RINDELS, QUALE, PARKER, SILLS

Funeral services for Lester Williams, 90, former Waterloo and Nevada resident and recently of Hazleton, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Chapel of Memories West with burial in the Nevada cemetery. Mr. Williams died Saturday at 4:15 p.m. at the L, M & N Nursing Home at Hazleton of complications of age.

He was born on Sept. 2, 1884, at Morris, Kan., the son of David and Edith Williams. He married Mary Ricks March 12, 1912. They were later divorced. He married Effie Blakemore of Nevada in 1955. He had been employed by the John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works for 33 years, retiring in 1953.

He is survived by a son, Thomas H. Williams of 2469 Newell Rd.; a daughter, Mrs. Lula Rindels of 929 W. Airline Hwy.; three step-daughters: Mrs. Irwin Quale of Rt. 2, Dunkerton Rd., Mrs. Madeline Parker of Mount Pleasant, and Mrs.
Lucille Sills of Ames; and two step-sons, Ray and Kennth Blakemore of Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his wife.

Friends may call at the Chapel of Memories West after 3 p.m. Monday until time of services Tuesday.
