WATERLOO- William R. "Andy" Andrew, 75, of Waterloo, died Friday, Nov. 15, 1996, at Covenant Medical Center of natural causes.

He was born May 9, 1921, son of Charles Dale and Ruth Smith Andrew. He married Norma N. Ackerson March 14, 1945, in Waterloo; she died March Mr. Andrew served in the U.S. Army during World War I with Company B, 133rd Infantry, 34th Division, as a staff sergeant and received the Bronze Star. He was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for many years, retiring in 1977.

Survived by three sons: Larry of Palmer, Jim of Mount Pleasant, Bill of West Lafayette, Ind.; seven grandchildren; a great-grandson; and two brothers Jim of New Jersey and Chuck Colorado Springs Colo.

Preceded in death by his brother, John.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church with burial in Garden of Memories. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. at Chaprl of Mememories-West today and Monday for an hour before services att he church.

Memorials may be directed to the church.
