CEDAR FALLS - Mark R. Leacox, 53, of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2007, at Parkview Nursing and Rehab Center in Waterloo.

He was born Sept. 29, 1953, in Cedar Rapids, son of Richard and Carol Frence Leacox. He married Roma J. Vaverka on March 9, 2001 in Waterloo.

Mr. Leacox served his country during Vietnam conflict in the United States Navy on the USS Horne. He was a truck driver and was an AA member and had been a sponsor several times.

Survivors include his parents of Bettendorf; his wife; a daughter, Erica Jo (Jeff) Allen of Las Vegas, NV; a son, Adam (Chrystal) Leacox of Waterloo; a grandson, Davyd Leacox of Waterloo; two sisters, Pastor Paula (Carl) Stecker of York, PA, and Tracy (Keith) Morling of Galesburg, IL; and two brothers, David (Julie) Leacox of Lake St. Louis, MO, and Eric (M. Lynne) Leacox of Blue Grass, IA.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 10, 2007 at Heartland Vineyard Church in Cedar Falls, with burial in Cedar Memorial Cemetery in Cedar Rapids. Public visitation from 10:00 until service time Saturday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to Harvest Vineyard church in Waterloo
