Norma L. West, 90, of Bickford Cottages in Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, May 11, 2005, at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo.

She was born October 10, 1914, in Dysart, Iowa the daughter of Otis and Maude (Schneider) McCall. On February 15, 1935, she was united in marriage to Maxwell A. West in Waterloo, IA. He died November 24, 2001.

She worked in production at Hinson Manufacturing in Waterloo and also as a nurse's aide in Mankato, MN.

Norma is survived by her daughters, Ardis Conradi of Sun Lakes, AZ and Julie (Ed) Kinsel of West St. Paul, MN; son, David (Pat) West of Burnsville, MN; three grandchildren: Kari (Blu) McFarlane of Cedar Falls; Jon (Katie) Conradi of Prescott, AZ and Jody Stark of Detroit, MI; and five great grandchildren: Courtney and C.J. Conradi of Prescott, AZ, Jody Stark of Detroit, MI, and Chloe and Bellah McFarlane of Cedar Falls.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Velma McDonald and Helen Lindeman; and granddaughter, Katherine Kay Conradi.

Service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church, with interment in the Garden of Memories Cemetery, both in Waterloo. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the church. Memorial contributions may be directed to the church. Richardson Funeral Home in Cedar Falls is in charge of arrangements.
