CEDAR FALLS - Emma R. Kluckhohn, 89, of the Western Home Communities-Windhaven in Cedar Falls died Thursday, April 16, 2009 at her home.

She was born November 3, 1919, in Finksburg, Maryland, the daughter of Roy W. and Elizabeth (Staub) Bond. On October 14, 1939, she was united in marriage to Ghaile Brandenberg in Westminister, Maryland. He died in 1967. She then married Clarence G. Kluckhohn April 27, 1971 in Waterloo, Iowa. He died June 12, 1999.

Survived by two brothers, Slade Bond of Owings Mills, MD and Kenneth Bond of Hanover, PA; and sister, Dorothy Taylor of West Minster, MD.

Preceded in death by brothers, Wesley and Donald Bond; and sisters: Catherine Boughman, Laura Parker, and Beulah Bowman.

Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at the Western Home Communities Windhaven (5500 S. Main St., Cedar Falls) with inurnment at a later date in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens-Finksburg, MD. Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. until service time Tuesday at Windhaven.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice or the Western Home Foundation.

Richardson Funeral Home in Cedar Falls is in charge of arrangements.
