Services for Mrs. Dennis Griebel, 50, of Lafayette, Minn., formerly of Waterloo, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church in Lafayette with burial in the Catholic Cemetery. She died Monday at Methodist Hospital in Rochester, Minn., after a lengthy illness.
She was born Jan. 12, 1933, at Waterloo, daughter of Leo and Erma Evans Colter. She married Dennis Griebel Sept. 17, 1955, at Waterloo and the couple farmed in rural Lafayette since then.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, David and Mark, at home; two daughters, Joan and Denise, at home; three sisters: Charlotte Wysocki of North Fort Myers, Fla., Lorraine Koch of Waterloo and Mrs. Richard Miller of Strongsville, Ohio; and three brothers: Dr. Donald Colter of Mercer, Island, Wash., Gene Colter of Beaverton, Ore., and Rev. Dennis Colter of Cedar Rapids.
Friends may call until 9 p.m. Friday at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm, Minn.
