Marvin Raymond Redmon, 75, of Colorado Springs, Coio., and formerly of Ottumwa and Waterloo, died Aug. 4, 1990, in Colorado Springs of natural causes.
He was born Aug. 14, 1914, in Ottumwa. son of Harry and Grace Dunn Redmon. He married Erma Mae Courier on July 28, 1940, in Ottumwa. Mr. Redmon was a retired employee of Yellow Cab Co. He served in the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1958.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Karen Smith of Littleton. Colo., Linda Tomlinson of Alb, N.M., and Pamela Kinslow of Colorado Springs; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters: Mildred Ferber of Iowa City, Marvel McCarroll of Agency and Marilyn Wilson of Ashevillc. N.C..
He was preceded in death by a brother, Max. Services were Aug. 7 at Swan-Law Funeral Directors, Inc., Colorado Springs. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Colorado Springs.
