Grace I. Harter, 81, of Greenville, Ohio, formerly of Waterloo, Iowa, died on August 5, 1990, at Brethren Home Medical Center, Greenville, of natural causes.

She was born January 4, 1909, in Trotwood, Ohio, daughter of Grant and Anna Whitehead Stoner. She married Harold H. Harter on July 10, 1937. in Dayton. Ohio. He died March 27, 1990. She was a graduate of Manchester College in Indiana and was a receptionist at the offices of Drs. MacIntyre and Winninger before retiring.

Survivors include a daughter. Sue Ann Hixson of Singapore; and a granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.

Memorial services were Aug. 8 at St. Paul Episocopal Church, Greenville. with inurnment in the church rose garden. Oliver Funeral Home, Greenville, was in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to St. Luke Episcopal Church in Waterloo.
