Services for Maurice E. Cunningham, 70, of 706 Allen St., will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Our Savior Lutheran Church with burial in Garden of Memories. Mr. Cunningham died at 7:30 p.m. Monday at St Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minn., of complications of open heart surgery.
He was born Sept 2, 1905, at Hayworth, Ill., the son of Charles and Francis Baker Cunningham. He married Catheryn A.Rohrig Dec 10, 1927, in Waterloo.
He was employed for 40 years at John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works as an inspector, retiring in 1970.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Donald of 627 Summit Ave.; and Melvin of 1916 Clay St., Cedar Falls; a daughter, Mrs. Alvin Myers of 619 Hanna Blvd.; a brother, Ralph, of Winthrop; a sister, Mrs. Willis Goodrich of Clinton, Ill.
