Mrs. Fannie Pence, 82, of 307½ W. 9th St., died at University Hospitals, Iowa City, at about 9:30 p.m. Thursday of complications incident to age.

She was born at Oilman Iowa, Nov. 4, 1879. She was married to Fred Pence May 15, 1901, at Gilman. She resided in Waterloo for the past 50 years. She was employed for 19 years in the circulation department of Waterloo Daily Courier, retiring in 1955. She was a member of the Graves Evangelical United Brethren Church.

She is survived by three nieces.

She was preceded ind eath by her huaband, parents and two sisters.

Services are tentatively planned for next Wednesday. Friends may call at the Locke Funeral Home after 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Funeral services for Mrs. Fannie Pence, 82, formerly of 309½ W. 9th Street, who died on December 21, 1961, at University Hospitals, Iowa City, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Locke Funeral Home with the Rev. W. D. Winter, pastor of the Graves Evangelical United Brethren Church, officiating.

There will be a committal service at 1:30 p.m. at the Prairie View Cemetery at Gilman, Iowa, conducted by the Rev. W. Z. Henline, formerly of Waterloo.
