Mrs. Sarah Barlow, 87, of 125 Riehl St., died at 1 a.m. Wednesday of complications incident to advanced years.

She was born on June 2, 1876, at Fort Collins, Colo., the daughter of William and Mary Elizabeth Murphy Cline. She was married to James Franklin Barlow on Sept. 5, 1895, in Olin. She resided most of her married life in Waterloo.

She was a member of the Calvary Evangelical United Brethren Church.

Surviving are two sons, Willard Eugene Barlow of 909 Newton St., and Harold W. Barlow of Bell, Calif.; four daughters: Miss Marjorie C. Barlow of 125 Riehl St.; Miss Ethel E. Barlow of 125 Riehl St.; Mrs. Mildred Glessner of Sun City, Ariz;, and Mrs. Marian E. Brooks of 505 2nd St., Washburn; one sister, Mrs. Florence Burke, Soldiers Home Annex, Marshaltown; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren,

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1919, five brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services are tentatively scheduled for Saturday afternoon. Friends may call at Parrott & Wood afternoon time Thursday.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Barlow, 87, of 123 Riehl St., who died Wednesday of complications incident to advanced years, will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Calvary Evangelical United Brethren Church with the pastor, the Rev. R. C. Pfaltzgraff, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. The casket will be taken from the Parrott & Wood Funeral Home to the church at noon Saturday.
