Funeral, arrangements are pending at the Parrott and Wood funeral home for Mrs Laura Belle Edwards, 72, of 1928 Falls Ave. Mrs. Edward: died at her home at 9:55 a. m. Monday after'a long illness.

Mrs. Edwards was born May 3, 1888, at Anamosa, the daughter of William and Elizabeth Murphy Cline. She was married to Frank Edwards at Monmouth on Feb. 26, 1903 She had lived in Waterloo for over 30 years..

Mrs. Edwards was a member of the First United Brethren Church and Daughters of Union Veterans.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Wheeler, 1928 Falls Ave., three sisters: Mrs. Sarah Barlow, 125 Riehl St., Mrs. Mary Burton, Compton, Calif., and Mrs. Florence Burke, Marshalltown, and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, five brothers and one sister.
